UFC on Fox 2 gets bantamweight matchup between Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Wineland

An exciting bantamweight matchup between Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson and Eddie Wineland is being targeted for the UFC's second card for Fox in January, according to a report from MMAWeekly.com.

Johnson is coming off a loss to Dominick Cruz for the UFC Bantamweight Championship in October, a five round battle that saw Cruz take each round for a unanimous decision win. The loss was just the second in Johnson's career, and first since his WEC debut in April of 2010.

Wineland was on a four fight winning streak into his UFC debut in March, but came up short in a decision loss to Urijah Faber. In his next fight, he was defeated - again by decision - in a bout against Faber's teammate, Joseph Benavidez in August.

UFC on Fox 2 will take place from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, on January 28, though no fights have yet been officially announced for the card.
