Despite numerous main event changes in 2011, Dana White says UFC's had "incredible year for fights"

The UFC has not had a lot of luck this year with their main event bookings, having a number of fights fall through due to injuries. Thankfully for fans, even though business has been a bit down this year, the fights themselves have been delivering in a big way. After Saturday's fantastic main event at UFC 139, UFC President Dana White talked about that issue, and touched on the fact that they'll improve things in 2012.

"The reality is this last year has been an incredible year for fights. Realistically, if you think about it, we've had ten main events fall out. This year's fights have just been incredible, we've been on a roll. Even the Fox fight, Junior dos Santos knocked out Cain Velasquez in the first round, a guy who's never been beat, never been knocked out and who won eight of his last nine by knockout. What the hell is wrong with that? Nothing. Yes, I understand it was a little content heavy, 60 minutes of talking, 60 seconds of fighting, but we'll figure this thing out it was our first fight."
