NOTE: Most of the responses were handed in prior to the news of Georges St-Pierre's injury, thus B.J. Penn vs. Nick Diaz was not yet the main event for UFC 137

I'm pretty stoked to see the Cung Le vs. Wanderlei Silva fight. It's completely meaningless; Le isn't great and Silva is cooked. But for pure entertainment value, it's really hard to beat a Cung Le fight. Silva is definitely the right level of competition for him (which says a lot, admittedly). I wasn't looking forward to Le vs. Belfort one bit, because I don't think Le had a realistic path to victory in that one. This Silva fight is a coin flip, though, and it should be as fun as a bucket full of oatmeal and firecrackers.

Well, I'm extremely interested in B.J. Penn vs. Nick Diaz from UFC 137. A lot of that hinges on how B.J. performs, and if he comes to fight or not. UFC 139 has Uriah Faber vs. Brian Bowles. That's another fight I'm very interested in. I think Penn vs. Diaz is just slightly ahead in terms of my interest level. Both fights should be great, though.

We have obviously just lost the 137 welterweight title fight between GSP and Carlos Condit; but the replacement main event between Nick Diaz and B.J. Penn has all the markings of a classic.
I fail to see how this fight - providing both men show up on the night (oh the irony) - can be anything other than gripping viewing.
If it hits the mat, it will be an absolute ground war. If it stays on it's feet it will be a stand up war. If it's somewhere in the middle then it's gonna be a something in the middle war.
I cannot wait!! This is my fight of the year so far.

B.J. Penn vs. Nick Diaz is the fight I am most excited about. I have wanted to see this fight for years and I cannot wait. This is one of those fights that will be looked back upon with more historical importance than any other fight on this card. Cheick Kongovs. Matt Mitrione can be looked at as a has been and a never will be, but should still be a decent heavyweight fight. Mirko Filipovic vs. Roy Nelson is a train wreck of a fight, but should be really exciting. I feel Cro-Cop should have retired before ever stepping into the Octagon, but for as long as he wants to compete, I will want to watch him. Dennis Siver vs. Donald Cerrone could easily be the fight of the night. These are two stand up fighters who usually finish fights. This fight should be a fast paced and very exciting.

I could go the pretentious route and pick some undercard fight between two prospects that no one has heard of, but if you're a fight fan, then Nick Diaz vs. B.J. Penn has to get your blood pumping more than anything else on the docket this year.

What saddened me most about hearing Joe Rogan go on about Leonard Garcia vs. Nam Pham back at UFC 136 was that all of that hype and praise should be reserved for fights like Penn vs. Diaz.

What we're going to see in the co-main event of UFC 137 is a guaranteed scrap between two of the most talented fighters ever in mixed martial arts. Both fighters bring solid boxing, sharp jiu-jitsu, granite chins, and a staunch belief in the purity of fighting. This is going to be epic, and shame on you if you're aren?t stoked for this fight.

There are some fantastic matchups taking place in the lighter weight classes over the next several months, from Donald Cerrone vs. Dennis Siver next weekend at UFC 137 to Ben Henderson vs. Clay Guida and Dustin Poirier vs. Pablo Garza at UFC on Fox 1 and more, but the one I think I'm most looking forward to is Urijah Faber vs. Brian Bowles at UFC 139. I always enjoy Faber's fights, and both he and Bowles will be on a mission to get one more shot at UFC Bantamweight Champ Dominick Cruz. It's a fantastic number one contender fight, and the winner should come out looking very strong into a title rematch.
